RULES & POLICIES

At Toshi’s Lodge, we are committed to creating a peaceful, safe, and respectful environment for all our guests. To help us maintain the comfort and quality of our space, we kindly ask that all visitors and overnight guests adhere to the following rules and policies. These guidelines ensure that everyone enjoys a pleasant stay while respecting our property, staff, and fellow guests.

By confirming your booking, you agree to follow the policies outlined below.

Check-in/Check-out • Check-in: from 2:00 PM

• Check-out: before 10:00 AM

• Early check-in/late check-out may incur additional fees and must be arranged in advance.

Cancellation Policy • Free cancellation up to 48 hours before check-in. • Late cancellations/no-shows will be charged the full amount of the first night.

Noise Policy • Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. • No parties or loud music allowed on the premises after 10:00 PM

Visitors • Visitors must be registered at reception and are only allowed until 10:00 PM. • Overnight guests are not allowed unless registered and paid for.

Smoking & Alcohol • No smoking inside the rooms or enclosed areas.

• Designated smoking areas are provided.

• Excessive alcohol consumption and unruly behaviour are strictly prohibited.

• Illegal substances are forbidden.

Damage & Loss • Guests are responsible for any loss or damage to lodge property.(R1000 fee will be paid for any damage caused.)

• Management is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings.

Pets • Pets Are Not Allowed!

Safety & Security • Always lock your door when leaving the room. • Report any suspicious activity to management immediately. • When in position of firearms, guests are advised to lock them inside the provided safe. • Guests are not allowed to walk around with firearms inside the premises.

Cleaning • Please book for housekeeping services the day before (R300 cleaning fee). Housekeeping services are only available between 9AM to 2:00PM. (Guests will have to clean up after themselves after 2PM.)

Laundry • Guest laundry services are available on request (fees may apply). • Do not hang clothes or towels over windows and furniture.

Electricity & Water Usage • Please conserve water and electricity. • Turn off lights, appliances, and air conditioners when not in use or when leaving the room. • Unplug personal devices that are not in use.

Maintenance & Repairs • Report any broken or faulty equipment to reception immediately. • Do not attempt to fix or alter lodge property or fixtures yourself. • Emergency maintenance will be handled as quickly as possible; please be patient during such events.

Lost & Found • Items left behind will be kept for 30 days before being donated or discarded. • Guests are responsible for collecting lost items; shipping may be at the guest's expense.

Pool Area Rules 1. Pool hours: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM

2. No lifeguard on duty – swim at your own risk.

3. Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

4. No diving, running, or horseplay around the pool.

5. No glass, alcohol, or food in the pool area.

6. Proper swimwear is required (Nudity is prohibited in pool area).

7. Please shower before entering the pool.

8. Use of the pool is for registered guests only.

Common Areas Rules 1. Keep noise levels low in lounges and public areas.

2. Do not remove furniture or equipment from common areas.

3. Clean up after use – leave areas as you found them.

4. Shared kitchen (if applicable): Label your food, clean appliances and counters after use.

5. Guests must be dressed appropriately and wear shoes in all indoor common areas.

6. No sleeping or loitering in lounges or hallways.

7. Report any damages or malfunctions to staff.

Prohibited Items For the safety and comfort of all guests, the following items are strictly prohibited: • Illegal drugs. • Explosives, or Dangerous weapons. • Hazardous chemicals. • Electric stoves, hot plates, or cooking appliances.

Payment & Billing • All charges must be settled before check in. • Unpaid balances may result in legal action or additional collection charges. • We reserve the right to request pre-authorization of a card or a security deposit upon check-in.

Right to Refuse Service • The lodge reserves the right to refuse service or evict any guest who violates our policies, causes a disturbance, or poses a safety risk.
